THE HUMANEUS CENTER AND CHILDREN

The HUMANEUS Center pays special attention to the world of children. Education, the transmission of culture and traditions, and preparation for adulthood through knowledge and entertainment, are of the utmost importance to the HUMANEUS Center.
To this end, the LEIBNIZ Institute has developed SilverPath, a unique, complex universe designed to accompany young visitors on their visit to the HUMANEUS Center.

SILVERPATH

[…] It is said that in the immense forest of the Myths, in the heart of the gloomy and dense woods, where an ancient and powerful magic reigns, a mysterious path lies, a fine and luminous trail, just a dash of light rushing through the wild bushes; the SilverPath – that is its name – leads Human into the depths of himself. […]

SilverPath is a particular world, scripted, and populated by a gallery of archetypal characters who live extraordinary adventures inspired by mythology and special knowledge offered to the general public by the HUMANEUS Center.

SilverPath can be discovered in the HUMANEUS Center complex, but also and above all in the various extensions of the Center, such as in television series, feature films, animated films, books, graphic short stories, video games and finally derivative products.
These media are designed by the students of the LEKTON School and the researchers of the ATOMOS laboratory. They are visualised, directed and produced by the artists and programmers of the EIDÔLON production studio, before being distributed on the market in the host country and internationally by the HUMANEUS Center’s partner companies.

GENESIS – Conquer Olympus!

For the HUMANEUS Center and its young visitors the LEIBNIZ Institute also imagined Genesis.

Genesis, this set of games, adventure and teaching – aimed at children aged 6 to 12 – is a universe in itself, a very special experimental framework offering a space for discovery and learning about tales and mythology tailored to children.

Genesis is totally innovative. This entertainment area, with its unusual interactive setting, takes the young visitor straight to the very sources of mythology.

Accompanied on their visit to the experimental frameworks of Genesis by the emblematic characters of SilverPath, the young audience is immersed in a mythological universe of great dimensions developing over three levels of the HUMANEUS Center.

Here too, life-size sets combined with the use of state-of-the-art immersive technologies, the art of scenic illusion, holography, mechanical engineering and the participation of actors create the magic needed to make this exceptional experimental frameworks succeed.

As with the entire HUMANEUS Center, Genesis is replicated and extended digitally in the Twin Centers system in the Cloud and can be experienced by young audiences according to the standards defined by this system.

To understand mythology and the stories that it conveys, is, for the child, to understand the path strewn with pitfalls that humans follow from their birth to their death. It is to position oneself as an individual with regard to life and the society around us.
It is also to perceive the extraordinary journey whose origin is lost in the mists of time, and which inevitably leads humanity towards a future in constant flux: this future that the child must constantly and increasingly quickly discover, confront and apprehend. The pedagogical dimension of Genesis is based on the latest behavioural studies of children and their ability to learn through play.

The primary ambition that drives Genesis is defined: to help children understand their primordial role in the great adventure that awaits them and, based on the discovery of and introduction to the great universal mythological archetypes, to suggest tools for reflection that will enable them to develop their own system of thought, positioning and development.
